Wedding Inspiration for an Autumn Wedding

An Autumn Wedding

In this day and age why limit yourself to a Summer wedding? Autumn is full of beautiful colours and tones why waste it? Also, the summer is now lasting well into October beautiful sunsets to commit your vowes. You could also save yourself a few pounds, venues and honeymoons will be cheaper out of season. Also thinking about the summer we are having it is stonking hot! Could you imagine the heat under your beautiful wedding dress?

I am going to give you a few reasons to go with an Autumn wedding before looking at styling…

You FALL in love…

Ok cheesy as it might be but what a theme, it’s all about love! You can use the colour through your whole wedding, including decor. Think rich leaves and vibrant colours to anticipate an autumn wedding.

Why not have a late afternoon ceremony? Imagine the sunset, what a beautiful way to get wed! If you are getting married indoors then you can keep the Autumn evening mood with subtle lighting, twinkle lights!

You can use lots of foraged flowers and berries to give you a rustic feel for your Autumn wedding, just think the Table Plan and Welcome Sign could be covered in beautiful foliage.

Let’s Talk Colour…

Looking at all the colours of the season you will see they are rich warm and opulent. Golds to deep reds there is certainly a pallet to suit everyones taste. This simple invitation captures the mood well, the falling Autumn leaves, this creates a great base point for the rest of the stationery to follow.

If you want to be a little different you could always try different mediums for the day, maybe actual leaves? they are a great base to create something different. Maybe you could opt for perspex to show off your other decor or add a little gold leaf. The possiblilties are endless. That is the beauty of creating for your day.
