A Round Up Of News From Pastel Designs

A New design for a table plan
A musical inspired wedding invitation

A round up from Pastel Designs before we hit half way!

Can you believe it is nearly June? This year has flown by and so much has happened. We have new products, new shoots and lots of fresh ideas to come. Where shall we start in our round up?

How we have evolved over the last 6 months.

Since starting Pastel Designs in 2017 what I thought of as a side line has now flourished into a great little business. Having been involved a fair few styled shoots (as I can’t say no!) my network has grown considerably. So from just designing wedding stationery I am now helping other wedding suppliers with their branding and websites, it is lovely to be able to give something back to those I have worked with over the last couple of years.

No I am going to start to merge my other business F&R Designs with Pastel designs to be able to offer a fully comprehensive design option for everyone. Please feel free to drop me a line if you need help.

The Shows

As you will know if you follow me on social media I did a fair few shows at the beginning of the year from Yeovil to Bath, and a few dotted in between. The shows with the ladies form The wedding Emporium are always so well organised and attended, they are the same team behind The Wedding Showcase which was my very first ever show, last Autumn. I have been booked by so many bride and grooms to be that I am in for the Autumn shows too.

I am thinking of a theme to really get noticed at the shows, so keep an eye out! I will also be running mycompetition which is open until the end of the year for your wedding stationery for free! You must really come to visit me! I know at the Wedding Showcase on the 21st September a fantastic new addition will be ready to go!

The Designs

This year has seen the ever so popular consatina fold invitations, complete with tear off RSVP. The layout of these invitations are perfect, they contain all of the information in one place so nothing can be lost! So many times I have heard bits go missing from packs. We are going to be introducing new variations on this in the near future.

We are also working on a luxury pack of ‘off the shelf designs’ they will come in packs of 10’s complete with envelopes, they will be made of the highest quality stock so you can expect the same great service and quality but ready on the day. These will be on sale at the Showcase.

New machines, new products

Mr Pastel has joined me behind the scenes, he is working on extremely exciting products to launch, from Save the Date keyrings to signage, on various materials including wood and acrylic.

We also have the capability of providing personalised products, from waterbottles to foiled keepsakes, I have been working on a range of on the day stationery on various materials, crystal slices and shells have been popular here. I am always looking to invest in new and different products I can bring to you.

Shoots

I have been involved in three shoots so far this year and another on the way this week, these are another way to meet new suppliers and get ourname out there, I can not wait to show you the images as they are so different!

I organised my very first styled shoot, something I have wanted to do since working on my own back last year. Our theme was ‘Summer Brights’ our venue was the fabulous Sparkford Hall in Somerset. We had a number of very talented suppliers working on the shoot and have managed to secure our magazine feature, I can’t wait to share the images with you, keep an eye out on social media for sneak peaks!
