Styled Shoot – Rustic Greens and Blush

A Hidden Gem

Green & Blush Wedding Shoot

When you think of a rustic wedding you visualise woody earthy tones and maybe a spot of lace and hessian, this shoot proved that rustic can be elegant and taken away from the normal.

The shoot was at The Old Milking Parlour in Henstridge. A stunning venue just over the border in Somerset. The venue has a beautiful country backdrop and overflowing with character. The stylist, Lynne from Rustic Rentals captured the brief well and brought a beautiful elegance to the rustic wedding theme. The photographer on the shoot Chantel captured the wedding theme but concentrating on keeping the images beautifully in tone.

The stationery design was based on a romance novel, flowing watercolour background and hand calligraphy in the rich green. I used an old window frame to hold the table plan which fitted with the rustic theme. I kept away from using the blush in the design as I wanted to create something different.

The image has just been featured in Magpie Wedding. If you would like to talk about your wedding stationery please contact me.
