Styled Shoot – Steam Punk Elegance

A Hidden Gem

Elegance the Steam Punk Way!

What are your thoughts on Steam Punk? Or where you like me and not over sure on the whole Steam Punk look.

Victoria from the Wedding Emporium asked me to help out in a shoot at Holbrook Manor. The theme, you guessed it Steam Punk. I started my research and the ideas came flooding.

The look that I wanted to give was aged and quirky, a little Tim Burton! I began to layer, the ages look the antique paper and the funky fonts.

Using the highest quality paper stock with a textured feel I created the whole look to compliment the theme.

The save the dates were key tags on tiny keys, (everyone comments on these when they see them).

The invitations again had the aged look but with a little more of a Victorian feel, this led on perfectly for the table plan, we used famous authors of the time, teamed with lace and a frame it enriched the decor. We also had ‘love potion’ favours.

You will find the write up by Victoria here with more images and all the information behind the shoot.
